This is my plan/ToDo list for the remaining items to be accomplished for the Phase 1, 2, and 3 studies.

Phase 1 - use JointTrack to shape match models of cervical TDR to cadaver data.

Done:

• • Data analyzed for all 3 spines

  • Presented at SAS 2007

TO DO:

• • Write up results for publication

Phase 2 - develop and evaluate new metric.

Done:

• • Load CT image data

  • Load Fluoro image data

  • Calibrate camera model for DRR generation

  • Generate DRR using VTK render window (window to image filter)

  • Implemented 8 existing image metrics, and created a new one by combining 2 previous algorithms

TO DO:

• • Tune simulated annealing optimizer

  • Decide on registration scheme (based heavily on ITK concepts)

  • Assess quality of registration performed with new metric

Phase 3 - use new metric to analyze cadaver kinematic data.

Done:

• • Collected Fluoro and mocap data simultaneously on 3 cadaver cervical spines with a TDR.

  • Collected CT image data from the 3 cadaver spines.

TO DO:

• • register CT images to fluoro images

  • compare results with mocap data
